The End of Day 2 and the Beginning of Day 3

Hello again. yesterday we went to the sloths. They were so cute and i wanted to take them home. After our tour, we ate lunch and it was really good. We had mashed potatoes, chicken, carrots, beans and ice cream for dessert. Then we went on a boat ride aroudn the area and saw a lot of animals. We saw emerald basilisks, howler monkeys, a hummingbird, one million crabs and other animals. then we went back to the hotel and relaxed for an hour or two. Cate & i were in our room relaxing when Cate called me into the bathroom because there was a frog in there. Jorge came and helped get us out. We played a little soccer. After that i went back to the room to take a shower. when I tried to turn the knob, I thought i had hot water and it didn't work; later what i found out was the knob i thought was cold and vice-a-versa. Before going to the beach, we washed our hands as we were about to perform surgery. Before we left we had to find Cates lanyard which we couldn't leave the room without; it was in Cate's backpack the whole time. We washed out hands to make sure and remove all chemicals or we couldn't hold the turtle. The two turtles we let into the ocean were Slappy and Fred. Slappy was first to reach the ocean and Fred took his time; goodness gracious. After that the gentleman from Widecast, the NGO that helps the turtle gave us a two hour presentation. We moved to a new room after dinner. We went to bed about 10 but before that I had a scare with my camera. i thought I had it but it was left at the restaurant. We were woken up at 4:45am by a loud group of howler monkeys. They were so loud and annoying but so cool to be so close to them; double edged sword. We are now on the bus going to meet a native time and go canoeing! Adios- Katherine
